If you look in my gallery you'll all probably notice that I cleaned it out...a lot. The reason for this: my style has changed a lot since I started here or dA, almost four years ago, and I'm just not happy with my older stuff. No worries, I didn't take it off dA for good (if you happen to like my old fanart) it's all in my scraps. I don't know, my style and my interests have changed so much, I think I've improved a lot, and I'm sorta sick of seeing all that old stuff in my gallery, therefore it's out. I did keep a lot of the work that had a lot of favorites, but otherwise I moved them.

I was just looking through my gallery and remembering when I used to really be proud of all that stuff. I read some of the comments and was unfortunately reminded of that awful time when I was being accused of art theft. That's when I was inspired to start improving on my own style though, so despite all the pain it caused me at the time the crit was ultimately helpful. And now, well now I haven't had the urge to draw anything anime related in a really long time. Don't get me wrong I still love anime, but I'm loving drawing realism even more. I just hope all my watchers don't mind.

Sorry for the mini-rant. I've just been thinking a lot about my art lately. In other news I got good grades in all my classes last semester and am looking at probably making the deans list again. That's good.

Oh, and if you haven't seen Star Trek yet, go. I'm not, and never have been a Trekkie, but it's an incredible movie. And Zachary Quinto was just awesome as Spock. I'm really loving him right now! Fanart may be coming in the future. XD

I'm also loving Green Day's new album 21st Century Breakdown right now too. Great work! It's been far too long without a new Green Day album.
