It's been awhile since I've updated so, since I've got some news I figured I'd update.
Firstly, I suppose, is the announcement of another concert that I'm going to. I haven't been to a concert since Coldplay last fall, and when I go for a certain period without going to one I get this horrible emptiness inside that can only be filled with the awesomeness that is live music. That's how I feel anyway. So I'm going to see Disturbed in April, should be an awesome, loud show. A friend is coming down from Vermont with a couple people she met at school who share the same taste in music, and we're all meeting up at the Civic Center for the show. Should be a blast.
In other news, I'm going back to my High School in a couple weeks to do a reading at the annual Coffee House there. That's always fun, although it will be really weird going back there and not being a student. Now I just have to decide what I want to read, poetry or prose. That is the question.
I think I mentioned a while back that I'm taking this Rock 'n Roll Cultures class at school. It's probably
the most amazing class I've ever taken! We went to the museum not to long ago to take a look at this show called Backstage Pass. It's a compilation of candid, behind the scenes mostly, photos of great rock bands and stars from the 50's to the early 90's. It was really amazing to see some of the photos, because we usually don't get to see these people in everyday, normal situations. I know I'm going back at least twice with friends, and I really can't wait. This class has really made me appreciate music more. I used to be pretty strictly a fan of rock and alternative rock from the 90's up (with a few exceptions) but now I'm finding myself really getting into a lot of older stuff. It's great!
Oh, and speaking of awesome music, I'm so excited that U2 finally released their new album. I've been waiting anxiously ever since I heard the fist single off it, then the radio played a full preview of the album like a week ago. It's such a good album, one of their best for a while now, in my opinion. Now they just need to come somewhere near me for a concert and I need to be really fast in getting tix! XD Like that would ever happen...
In the news of my own personal art projects (and I know I've been saying this for a while, but...) I am working on some projects. I'm working on totally re-reworking the characters that I uploaded last spring. I'd really like to start doing more with them, and I'm hoping I get the time. So, with any luck you'll be seeing some new stuff from me.
Sorry this was such a long journal, if you've gotten through this far, I thank you for your time! Hope everyone's doing well! And I'm really going to try to get online more than like once a week. XD

-I wish I had something good to put in my signature. Alas, nothing.
I love art trades, by the way.

Yeah, if you're a fan of U2 at all I think you'll like it. It's got some really great material on it. My personal fav is Stand Up Comedy, but it's hard to choose.
